About Grills and How to Clean Gas Grills
Filed Under grills | Leave a Comment
David H. Urmann asked:
Grills are great kitchen equipment for cooking barbecues. It comes in a variety of sizes, shapes and designs.
There are several varieties of grills categorized into two such as gas-fueled grills and charcoal grills. There is a great discussion over the qualities of gas and charcoal for use as a cooking method between grills. The electric indoor grill is also becoming very popular in the industry of cooking.
Grilling is a persistent tradition in the US. There are several cook-offs for barbeque and steak grilling in the US, even with a cash prize involved. Almost all contest grillers use charcoal, especially in steel grills or custom design bricks.
Infrared grills work by igniting the natural gas or propane to a superheat ceramic tile, causing it to produce infrared radiation that cooks food. Infrared cooking varies other forms of grilling that uses hot air in order to cook the food.
Charcoal grills utilize either all natural lump charcoals or charcoal briquets as their source of fuel. Users of charcoal briquets stress the consistency in quality exemplified, heat creation, burn rate and size by briquets. The user of the lump charcoal emphasizes the consistency in high heat production, subtle smoky aromas and lack of fillers and binders present in briquets.
Gas fueled grills usually use natural gas or propane as their source of fuel with gas-flame either by heating grilling elements or by cooking food directly, that in turn radiates the heat essential to cooking food. These gas grills are obtainable in sizes that range from large, single steak grill types to industrial-sized restaurant grill varieties that are capable of cooking meat in order to feed more people.
Most of the gas grills follow the design concepts of cart grills. There are other popular types also. One of them is the flattop grill. The BRMGG or Brazilian Radizio Machine Gas Grill is a durable spitroast machine suitable for making a Brazilian Rodizio. The Brazilian Rodizio Machine Gas Grill runs having top radiant gas burners that roast meat in rotating spits. All types of gas grills are required to be maintained and cleaned if you want to safely cook delicious barbecues.
Here are some tips to clean the gas grills with materials you have in the house:
Before you start to clean your gas grills, ensure the total disconnection of the natural gas or propane gas tank and the controls in the off position. For complete safety, completely remove either the natural gas or propane gas tank.
Use water and soap as they are still the best cleaning solutions. Use the usual soap dishwashing liquid that is designed for cutting grease and combine it with hot water or warm water in the large bucket or container.
Remove the grill rack from the gas grill and put it directly in the soapy water. Leave the grill rack and soak it for about 30 minutes or more depending on how much grease are built in grilling racks. There are other options to remove grease in the grill racks, put the drip guard right with the grill racks in the container to eliminate the build-up of grease. Remove the remaining particles inside the grill by using wet-dry vacuums via hand-held tools.
Rinse off any excess soap after the drip guard and grill rack have finished soaking and put them back inside the grill. If baked-on grease is not removed, use the grill cleaning brush to remove any remaining residue. Do not use the metal grill cleaning brush on porcelain grills because it will cause damage.

Customize Your Cars’ Grilles for a Much More Stunning Car Design

Imran ali asked:
The grilles of cars are often some of the most noticeable aspects of their designs. Oftentimes, a car could be identified just by the design of its grille. Because of this, a lot of car owners choose to make their cars more distinct and unique by customizing the grille designs for their cars. Also, when modifying several features on their vehicles such as their paint jobs and headlights, modifying the grille often helps the design of the vehicle to truly come together.
Visit a Car Grille Customization Expert Near You
But how exactly does one go about having one’s car grille modified? If one is new to these things, one can easily do research about it by visiting a nearby car customization shop. These shops often have detailed pictures of available car grilles. You can bring your car along so that you could easily picture your car with the newer grille. The professionals working on these shops could also give excellent advice on what grille designs are in trend at the moment and which ones would work best with the car model.
However, if one already has an idea for a beautiful grille design that could work with one’s car, one could draw the grille design and bring it with him to the customization shops. If the establishment has its own fabricators, then the grille design could then be easily fabricated. Such a service might be expensive but it ultimately depends on the establishment how much it could end up costing.
One could also go online to check out the available grille designs. An advantage to using such an approach is the fact that one could spend as much time as one needs to look at all sorts of grille designs. One could order from establishments all over the world and have these grille setups delivered right to one’s own doorstep.
Why Not Customize the Grille Yourself?
At this point, a car owner could also think of doing his own garage work. He could end up installing the grille to his own car. This allows him maximum control, but it also means that the car would need to spend more time at the garage. It isn’t the same as when one just brings the car to professionals; there’s an element of risk involved when one does one’s own customization. However, one can always send over for the professionals if the grille customization job he’s doing ends up not going as well as he planned.
One should also never forget that grilles have their own special functions for cars. One should pick a car grille not just based on looks but also on whether or not the grille design provides optimal airflow for the car’s radiator. Other considerations also exist such as whether or not the grille allows the car’s horns to work just as well.
Oftentimes, car owners also choose to install a car grille that emulates the grille designs of more popular cars. The distinctive kidney shape that the BMW car grille has in between its headlights is one of these designs. Owners buy custom car grille setups that emulate the kidney look or they sometimes request car customization shops to install this design on their cars. Another thing to think about could involve the color of the grille that would fit one’s car; these are usually white, black or gray.
With the wealth of choices available, customizing car grilles can be truly satisfying aspects in making sure one’s vehicles are as unique and stylish as can be.

Should my new grill be leaking grease?

geistswoman asked:
Recently purchased my first gas grill. It is considered a higher end grill. I’ve noticed that grease is dripping onto the gas tank underneath. I’ve tried adjusting the drip tray, but that didn’t do the trick. My father says to keep playing with the tray. My uncle says he has never had a grill where the grease didn’t leak on the tank. So which is it? Should there be grease or shouldn’t there? I hate turning the grill on and off cause I get grease all over my hand when turning the nozzle.

Billet Grills Bring the Big Picture
Filed Under grills | Leave a Comment
Timothy J. Hands asked:
Billet grills are only underrated for those whom are unfamiliar with their car’s exterior, and just care about getting from “A” to “B.” For the less-satisfied drivers out there though, billet grills are an invaluable aftermarket addition that cannot be ignored. And it doesn’t take much to realize why.
1) Aesthetics- As with many automotive upgrades, most likely you are going to go after image-conscious choices. Billet grills are often the very first option applied by restyling pros and hobbyists alike. The reason? Pretty simple. The front-end of your ride is what makes its presence known before anything else. When you see a vehicle approaching, what is the first thing that you notice? Even when your ride is parked by the curb, a glistening, triumphant billet grill has a tendency to make a lasting impression.
2) Status- When you purchased your vehicle, you automatically bought in to a certain segment. That essentially means your model will always be compared with others in its “class.” Billet grilles have a unique ability to transcend any category. If you want to add a luxurious edge to your exterior that separates your ride from the rest of the clones on the road, a roving billet grill secured to the front will help you make that statement with sportiness, elegance, and conviction. The right billet grille provides versatility, and allows you to stand apart.
3) Protection- It’s not all about looks. Aftermarket billet grilles provide a step-up in protection for most models. OEM grills are not normally put in place to stave off the elements that different geographical locations are famous for. Some climates leave your car or truck more vulnerable than others - we all know that. Chances are, your original grill is either shoddy aluminum or medium-quality plastic. They were put there to deflect giant rocks and debris from getting into the inner workings. Some drivers need a little extra. And that “little extra” is most likely found somewhere other than their OEM standardized piece in the front. Truck grills rise in importance almost daily because of this very fact.
All Vehicles = All Styles
Unlike some other aftermarket goodies, billet grills are available for just about every model out there, regardless it it’s a car, truck, or SUV. And that is an important thing to take note of, because frequently, many upgrades are offered to cars, but maybe not trucks, and vice/versa. Whatever model you drive, it is a safe bet there is a grille out there for it. The smart money even says that you have options in more than just a few styles. After all, billet grilles don’t come in just one design that everyone must sign off on. There is a whole galaxy of choices that can skyrocket your car’s exterior dimensions.
Mesh grills are another type of grill that can deliver a stunning reminder of just where you stand. Mesh grills display a prominent meshed design, often featuring stainless steel woven in this fashion. The holes in a mesh grill primarily appear much smaller, showcasing a whole other take on aftermarket elegance. Once polished and fixed to the front, a mesh grill demonstrates a stark contrast in luxurious bravado that the original factory grill just cannot compete with. It is because of this reason why along with billet grills, mesh grills are a highly-sought after objective for even the most novice of custom-hungry drivers.
Materials
Chrome-coated or chrome-plated stainless steel grilles are certainly considered to be of the highest order that most drivers want. Many of the top-tier brands such as Asanti®, E&G Classics®, and T-Rex Billet Grilles® utilize stainless steel as the material of choice. ABS plastic is also frequently employed as well, and can also come slathered in chrome. Virtually every type from truck grills on down the line come complete in any grade or finish.
Installation
Installation for a new billet grill is not the daunting task that you might have preconceived notions about. First and foremost, many times they come as overlays, which fasten right over your original grill. In the event that your new grille is a direct replacement, at the most you may need to do some very light drilling and screwing. While I personally believe anyone can do this, if you were to feel a tad uneasy about it, you can always shoot for professional installation or call on some help from a more mechanically-inclined friend. But definitely do not let what might appear as an involved installation stop you from going after the grille that you feel is right for you!
Billet grills really help you make the most out of your exterior. While there are several mind-blowing modifications you can make, a billet grille is perhaps the most consistently classy choice for the majority of drivers who crave an injection of custom style. They are such a solid investment simply because it is just so hard to go wrong! Of course, you do want to look around a bit, see what is out there, and discover your own perception of automotive fashion-sense. As soon as you have that pegged it’s off to the races! Before long, you will hopefully have the gimmering and luxuriously crafted billet grill that delivers on all of your automotive dreams!

Billet grille for style up front
Filed Under grills | Leave a Comment
Louie asked:
The grille is one of the most visible parts of a car. It is right there in the front of your car. Irrespective of whether the car has a front engine or rear engine the grill is there in the front. Its location, therefore, significantly contributes to the overall look of the car. If the existing grill of your car does not appeal to you, or even if you are satisfied with it but want to further enhance the look of your car, you can go in for a billet grille.
Since the grille is fitted in the front it is necessary that it is made of a tough material. The materials mostly used are aluminum, or stainless steel, or even some times ABS plastic. Despite being light aluminum is strong, and it resists corrosion. It can be easily molded in any shape that you like. Stainless steel is very strong, it resists corrosion, and is rust free. ABS plastic grills are less expensive. Though these may not be as strong as aluminum or stainless steel grills these are durable and rust free.
There are bolt over billet grilles which can be fitted over your existing grills. They require very little time to install. Some bolts, brackets, and clamps are used in fitting them. Then there are replacement billet grilles, which are installed after completely removing the existing grill. It is not difficult to remove the existing grill because these are mostly clamped by plastic brackets. You have simply to cut through these brackets.
There are various types of billet grills like Putco, Stull, DJ Motor Sports, Precision etc.. These can also be fitted in trucks and SUVs. In the market there are various designs of grilles. It will be easy for you to select grilles of your choice. They fit your vehicle like the original grille. All of them are durable. You can give your car the desired look by installing billet grills. You can get more information on billet grilles at www.ilovebodykits.com.
Once you have installed a great billet grille wherever you take your vehicle it will be appreciated. If you are also considering car body kits you can match your billet grille to the body kit of your choice.
