my dad bought a new gas grill and gave me his old one (he’s had it for about 6 years). when I use it, the flames aren’t very high on it when I have the knob set all the way on the high setting. I’m not sure if that’s a clue that I need a new tank or if the grill just needs to go out to pasture. Thanks.

Fairly new gas grill. Was working fine one day but will barely stay lit now. Replaced old gas bottle with a new one but this did not help. At full throttle the burners barely have a flame coming out of them. The rotisserie burner and side burner will not light at all.

It was originally a propane grill but we had it hooked up to natural gas through the pipe outside. Since then, we have moved and need to convert it back to using propane. Any suggestions would help hubby from buying new grill. lol

I have never bar-b-cued in my life. Just wondering how do you start a gas bbq fire and how do you put the fire out when you are done grilling?
SORRY NOT A GAS GRILL - IT IS ONE OF THOSE GRILLS YOU FIND IN THE PICNIC AREA IN A PARK.

I have a built in charcoal grill at my house, but would prefer gas because I dont grill a large qty and want to just turn on and off as needed. Calling places have suggested purchasing an insert, but that is very expensive. I have to imagine you can buy “replacement” parts for a gas grill and mount them in the charcoal grill insert and hook up to the gas (which is like 30 feet away)
Any suggestions on how to get started?
Sandra

How can I add a smoker to my gas grill?

I have a Perfect Flame 3 burner gas grill. It has some holes on the sides but I’m not sure if they can be used to stick a smoker to it. Are there other smokers that I can easily use to hook up to my gas grill?
Ahhh, awesome, I just checked Lowes and saw a special pan for smoking or filling with wood chips for 9 dollars. I’m buying it! But is there a difference with the pans aside from using attached smokers?

I just purchased a portable gas grill. Do I need to use briquettes with it, or should I use it as-is?

My grill is an Aussie Adventurer, and is a portable gas grill. I want to use it tonight, but dont know if I should be adding briquettes to the bottom. There is no ledge to place briquettes on, if they were required, they would be placed below the burner. It doesnt seem right adding them, but I always thought that they were needed, even with a gas grill. Help?!?
