Ting Tang, Tator, & Raven asked:

It’s a fairly new and really nice grill, but I don’t have a natural gas hookup for it on my deck… could I just run propane through it? I called tech support and they said it could be “extremely unsafe” to do that, but wouldn’t say how it’d be unsafe, could it explode or somesuch? I really want to grill, but don’t have the qualifications to run a natural gas pipe :( Any ideas?

I have smoked ribs many times on the gas grill using chips soaked then wrapped in foil. However, I recently heard that you smoke like this, but that you also add a pan of water for moisture / tenderness? Anyone heard of this? Anyone have a tried and true method.. I want fall off the bone ribs WITHOUT pre-boiling… I have all day and a full tank of gas..

Erin M asked:

Hi, I’m looking to purchase an inexpensive gas grill that’s of decent quality. Ideally, I’d like one with a side-burner, but I know this might be difficult as I want to spend less than $250.00. Does anyone know of a good grill or brand? Please help!
Thanks!

This is a backyard gas grill. Even when reduced to the lowest level of heat, it still burns before the meat or poultry is cooked. It did not come with lava rocks or anything. Is there a plate I can use to control the heat or should I get the stone briquette whatever that is. I need help please.

My parents just moved into a condo and it doesn’t allow their brand-new Weber gas grill - only electric grills. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I’d like to purchase an inexpensive gas or electric grill for my new apartment, they won’t let me use charcoal so I got to kick my old grill that was given to me. I was wondering if stores likes Sports Authority or something of that sort would sell them? Maybe even Wal-Mart? Something not too expensive that doesn’t use charcoal.

I’ve never owned a gas bbq grill, and I want a good one. Cost is a moderate factor. I can’t afford top of the line, but if a $99 Walmart job won’t last long, I need to spend more. What is your experience, good and bad, with gas grills?

Quack! asked:

My Weber brand gas grill is coughing. It’s got two burners, and when you light it, the fire is supposed to spread over to both burners. However, that does not happen. I thought the small holes that inject the gas were blocked so I used a steel brush trying to open them but that did not help. Now I think the gas pipe is blocked, so I’m wondering how to remove the blockage. Any ideas?
